HSM 2019 seeks original, high-quality papers in all areas related to machining technology and machine tools. All submissions will undergo a review process. Authors of submissions which are acceptable after minor or major revisions will be invited to submit a revised version. Only these submissions will appear in the conference proceedings and can be published in the special issue of MM Science Journal for extra fee of EUR 50.
Note that an abstract must be submitted before the paper. All paper submissions must be in English. The final fulltext paper must not exceed eight (8) pages in length. The papers should be formatted according to the provided template. HSM 2019 uses a double-blind review process, meaning both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other. Submissions (including citations) should not contain information that unnecessarily identifies the authors, their institutions or their places of work. Relevant previous work by the authors should be cited in the third person to preserve anonymity. All papers must be sent electronically to the contact e-mail address.
Authors are invited to submit up to 200-word abstract. This abstract submission does not require any special formatting, but use of the abstract template usage is recommended.
After a notification of abstract acceptance, authors are encouraged to submit the fulltext papers (6–8 pages) following the template provided on this page. These submissions will undergo a double-blind review process. After the final notification of acceptance, authors should send the final submission which integrates feedback from the reviewers.
The paper should have 6–8 pages. Please use the official templets (see below) only. The papers can cover original research results and preliminary studies, case studies or initial/prototype implementations. Focus on research topics or applications is expected. All papers are double blind peer-reviewed by members of the scientific committee. Authors can select during abstract registration type of the publication:
There is 20 minutes total time dedicated for oral presentation of every paper: 15 minutes presentation and 5 minutes for subsequent discussion. A presentation computer will be prepared.
